| This mahogany (khaya)
cabinet is free standing with the upper shelves for
audio and visual components. The smaller drawers
are sectioned for CD's and DVD's. The length of the unit is nearly eight feet. A flat screen TV is intended to be placed between the upper cabinets. I used off the shelf plywood and was able to match the grain pattern across the face and sides which pulled the piece together. Dyed with brown mahogany and finished with WB lacquer. |

Display
and A/V Component Cabinet I just completed this cabinet last month. I gave the lower cabinet a 21' radius which included the inset cabinet doors. The drawer fronts are angled to follow the radius. The center section is in white maple. The upper angles in toward the TV, and has recessed puck lighting, glass shelving and doors. I put series lighting in the top center section. I have to admit that this was a challenging project that I am very pleased with. |

| Frosted Glass
Doors This
represents my first try at sandblasting glass.
The design is a sun ray motif that I have used in my
sculptures some years ago. The doors are
beech.

Craftsman Style
Mantle I wanted a simple and clean statement that would blend with the room and not overwhelm it. This is a modified Mackintosh design using beech instead of the traditional oak. The frieze panel is custom curved plywood and the inlays are cherry, which will darken over time. |
